Power Engineer / Building Technician (Temporary Assignment – Downtown Vancouver)
Bridge Facility Services Ltd. is currently seeking a Power Engineer / Building Technician for a temporary assignment at a commercial property in downtown Vancouver.
This is a day shift role supporting building operations, mechanical systems, and tenant service. There is potential for longer-term placement for the right individual.
Schedule
Monday to Friday
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Some flexibility may be required)
Excluding BC statutory holidays
Responsibilities
Monitor and operate building mechanical systems (HVAC, pumps, exhaust, etc.)
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance
Troubleshoot mechanical and system-related issues
Respond to tenant service requests and work orders
Coordinate and oversee contractors as required
Maintain logs, reports, and daily communication with management
Qualifications
4th or 5th Class Power Engineer (or actively working toward certification)
Experience in commercial building operations
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with HVAC systems, BAS, and general building systems
Professional, reliable, and able to work independently
