You’ll Do:

Maintain a safe work environment
Care, control and operation of thermal fluid heaters and auxiliary equipment
Care, control and operation of water treatment systems
Care, control and operation of mechanical refiners
Monitoring and operation of various computer-controlled remote systems
Work in both a control room and production floor environment
Quality control testing, reporting and data logging
You have:

A valid fourth-class power engineering designation, including firing time
Experience working in an manufacturing and/or industrial environment
Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated problem-solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills
Desire to progress, learn, grow and succeed
Excellent interpersonal and crew building skills
The flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern
Valid driver’s license
Compensation Package:

The hourly pay rate for this position may vary depending on the experience, education and location.
Outstanding benefits package including medical, dental, pension, life insurance, disability, accident insurance, vacation and holidays.

Located in Quesnel BC, WestPine MDF is a Medium Density Fibreboard manufacturer. Quesnel has a population of approximately 25,000 and features all major conveniences, including its own airport.
