You will be overseeing and ensuring efficient, safe and reliable operation of the plants’ production installations. You will also be responsible for promoting ALC’s safety and quality objectives while meeting our customer expectations.Responsibilities:

 

You will be providing support safely and reliably to our ASU, 85 MW Cogen center, pipelines and associated equipment with a commitment to safe work practices
Use your PC and PLC based operating experience is required
Your well-developed organizational and communication skills will be used to perform quality control and issue safe work permits
Support drivers on product loading and scale issues and assist loading railcars with liquid nitrogen, oxygen and argon.
You will be creating work orders and performing light preventive maintenance as required
You will issue Safe Work Permits and ensure safe completion of work
You will issue and perform LOTO and be able to read and understand P&ID’s

Are you a MATCH?
Must hold Power Engineer certification (2nd/3rd Class within one year), valid in Alberta
Production operating experience in a Cogen, ASU or Industrial Plant
Have the ability to use computers, spreadsheets, electronic mail, and word processing
Have a valid class 5 drivers licence
Shifts – 12 hours shifts on a 7 days on, 7 days off . Rotating days/nights.
