JOB OVERVIEW:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for providing light general contractor and related services to existing and new commercial clients. You will be responsible for completing various activities, which are not limited to minor repair and maintenance in the following areas: plumbing, carpentry, interior/exterior paint, drywall, electrical, heating/cooling, and more.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Service clients in a polite and professional manner
Gather required tools and supplies specific to the job/repair
Move furniture, equipment, conduct plumbing, drywall, painting, HVAC repairs
Maintain client data & update work order information
Maintain company vehicles and tools
Order supplies and equipment
Must be able to work independently while managing time/changing service schedules
Perform tasks within service guidelines and seek appropriate approval for safety-sensitive situations
Other duties as required per business needs.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Excellent customer service and listening skills;
Must be able to use job-related tools and equipment with ease;
Good written and verbal communication skills;
Ability to effectively analyze, plan, organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines;
Good understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act;
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Previous related experience considered an asset;
5th or 4th class power engineering ticket/education considered an asset;
Acceptable security and criminal record check.
