We are seeking a Fourth-Class Power Engineer to join the team at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton.
This is a permanent full time position, and the starting wage is $36.3449 per hour.
What you will do
As a Power Engineer, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a heating/power plant and auxiliary equipment. You will monitor and assess environmental data, maintain a fuel delivery system, and overhaul and repair boilers.
Other responsibilities may include monitoring automatic controls within the power plant, operating and maintaining plant equipment, and performing minor repairs within codes and regulations.
Your home base will be at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton, but periodic travel to other Horizon facilities may be required.
Who you are
You posses a valid fourth-class power engineer’s license in accordance with the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Act, and a valid driver’s license. You have written and spoken competence in English (Advanced).
