The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

Grade 12 or equivalent.
Fourth Class Power Engineer Certificate.
Pool Operator Certificates, Levels I and II.
Five years’ previous experience working in aquatic maintenance in a multipurpose recreation facility.
Six months’ previous supervisory experience.
Ability to complete the Building Service Worker Certificate Levels I and II.
Ability to complete a Leadership Development program.
WHMIS Certificate.
BC Drivers Licence – Class 5.

For new hires, and for those working in designated positions of trust, including those working directly with vulnerable persons, no formal offer of employment will be made until an applicant completes a police information check. A comprehensive benefits package is included with this position. This is a CUPE local 900 position.
