TRU invites applications for a Power Engineering Instructor. The successful candidate will instruct 4th and 3rd Class Power Engineering Program classes to the Provincial curriculum and supervise students in the lab/shop.
The successful candidate will be required to develop curriculum and training materials for the classroom and lab/shop and assume role of plant engineer.
QUALIFICATIONS
3rd Class Power Engineering Certification
Minimum 5 years’ post certification experience
Proficiency in computer skills.
ASSETS:
1st or 2nd class certification
Provincial Instructor’s Diploma Certification or equivalent
Previous teaching experience
Excellent communication skills.
Wide variety of hands on work experience
Supervisory experience
Ability to work as a team member
