Naleway Foods Ltd. has been in operation in Winnipeg since 1965. We are the second largest producer of perogies and panzerotti in Canada. We provide high quality private label and branded products to the frozen food sectors of retail and wholesale distributors in North America.

We are looking for minimum 4th Class Power Engineer with a minimum of 2 years experience in a food processing environment. This position is for maintenance department in a 24 hour a day food manufacturing plant. Preference will be given to those applicants who have extra trade certifications and ammonia refrigeration experience. All applicants must be fluent in oral and written English.

Position overview

the role of power engineer/maintenance Mechanic is to operate and daily check of boiler and refrigeration system. this position is also responsible for daily check, lubricate, repair and maintenance of plant production equipment.

Skill Required

· 4th class power engineering certificate

· Several years of mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing. Food industry experience an asset

· Physical strength and stamina to complete maintenance and repair work on production equipment

· Must have strong mechanical background as well as hands on power tools and wrenches

· Able to work overtime, day, evening, night and weekend

Criminal record check and medical exam required after hiring
