Website Facilities Service Tech III
Bridge Facility Services is currently seeking a 4th Class Power Engineer / Level 2 Building Operator for a full-time opportunity in Downtown Vancouver, starting as early as October 5th, 2026.
This position is based at a well-established and highly respected commercial property management firm in British Columbia. The role is intended to transition into a direct hire with the client after an initial period working with Bridge Facility Services.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Excluding BC statutory holidays
Some flexibility required – shift times may be adjusted slightly based on site needs
Compensation:
$32.50/hour
4% vacation pay
Responsibilities:
Perform daily building checks and general maintenance
Monitor HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and life safety systems
Respond to tenant requests and service calls
Coordinate and provide access to contractors
Complete minor repairs and general building upkeep
Maintain accurate logs and documentation
Ensure building systems operate safely and efficiently
Requirements:
4th Class Power Engineer (TSBC) certification or actively working toward it
2-5 Years previous experience in commercial building operations
Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Reliable and professional with a strong work ethic
Ability to adapt to changing site needs and priorities
