Emailed support is our primary means of communication, allowing a student to refer back to the conversation as needed. Typically, we can answer all questions within a 12 to 24 hour period (if not faster). If emailed communication will not suffice or provide enough context, we also have the ability to schedule 1-on-1 virtual tutoring via GoogleMeet.
This depends on the exam you are preparing for and your previous experience/education.
Any entry level students (5th or 4th class), with no previous experience or education, must complete a college course, with the exception of Saskatchewan residents.
If you have a marine engineering background, mechanical engineering degree, or direct experience and time in a thermal generating facility (domestic or international), then you may be eligible to challenge your provincial exams. This is assessed by each jurisdiction on a case by case basis.

Not yet, but we are working on it.
Currently, we are unable to provide accreditation to allow entry level (5th or 4th class) student’s to write their provincial exams*. That being said, we have helped a lot of student’s through their college courses, offering support and structure to their preparation for both the institution as well as their provincial exams.
All other exams can be challenged following a 4th class certification. Our services are an excellent option for students preparing for 3rd, 2nd or 1st class exams.
*Exception for Saskatchewan residents, as they do not require a college course to be able to challenge their provincial exams.

Practice Exams
Upon signing up for a practice exam subscription, a student will be able to test themselves as many times as they want within the subscribed period.
Each attempt will randomly generate a 100 question exam. The questions will be aligned with the SOPEEC syllabus in order to test your knowledge and provide direction where you need to study further. After each attempt, you can review the entire exam to see the correct answers. Feedback will be provided to indicate where your strengths and weaknesses are, helping to structure your studies efficiently.
If a student can repeatedly achieve an 80-90% result (without memorization of content), then they are typically well prepared to write the provincial exam. If a student struggles to achieve these benchmarks, our Tutorial Course is a great alternative.
