Marine Terminal Manager

Job Description
This position has overall responsibility for the leadership and supervision of all SGS employees assigned to the identified site. The position also provides leadership for the day-to-day operations ensuring that operating targets are achieved in a safe and environmentally sound manner, and that preventative maintenance is accomplished as planned. This position is also the primary liaison with the customer, regulatory and environmental authorities and general public.

Ability to interact and communicate effectively with strong aptitude for political acumen
Strong business and financial acumen, specifically possess the ability to create and maintain annual budget, P&L etc
Provide leadership in Emergency Response and Incident Command situations
Strong Marine Fuel Terminal background with the emphasis on shore side operations ie dealing with hazardous products, tank farm and pipeline experience
Understanding of Environmental Hazards, including: Impact, awareness and avoidance
Development, implementation and maintenance of a strong safety culture
Understanding of Behavior Based Safety System
Strong Talent Management, coaching and leadership skills
IT/Technical background with strong computer skills
Familiarity with HMI (Human Machine Interface)
Experience leading in a union environment

Qualifications
Education – University Degree (Bachelor’s) in Business or related field or Technical Diploma such as Third Class Power Engineering, CPET, or similar

Experience: Over 10 years of relevant combined technical/business work experience required

Additional Information
Salary Range: $112,320 to $116,708
