THE POSITION
Keyera is currently seeking a Facility Operator for our Fort Saskatchewan Fractionation and Storage Facility in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. This exciting role will support the day-to-day operations of our facility and caverns. Rotational shift, days and nights required.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily operation of fractionation plant, truck loading/ offloading rack and cavern storage.
Monitor facility readings, product sampling, and quality control.
Assist with contractor, driver orientation and supervision for on-site operations.
Participate in review, modification or development of facility procedures.
Support engineering and maintenance teams with various projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will be well-organized, energetic, and service oriented with the following qualifications:
3rd class Power Engineering Certificate, Technical Diploma in Operations or similar discipline.
Minimum three to five (3-5) years’ experience in NGL processing, product storage, pipeline operation or similar industry.
Hold a 3rd Class Inter-provincial steam ticket.
Ability to read and understand P&IDs.
Proven experience using a DCS and PLC Systems.
Demonstrated commitment to Health, Safety & Environment.
Self-starter who is able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Strong team player with proven communication, problem solving and decision-making skills.
Highly organized, reliable individual with attention to detail.
Participate in the facility work functions as a team member with a focus on internal and external customer services.
This role requires the candidate to wear respiratory protective equipment. As per Alberta OHS 250(2), the candidate must ensure an adequate seal where the face piece of the equipment seals to the skin of the face.
A valid driver’s license and ability to provide 5-year standard driver abstract (clean driver’s abstract).
