POSITION SUMMARY

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a fantastic vacation experience by utilizing your maintenance skills and customer service expertise. You will be tasked with ensuring that each unit and building is in perfectly working order.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Performing all general facility maintenance tasks with/without supervision.
Performing service requests and repairs as directed, such as painting, appliance repair, minor electrical work, and carpentry.
Maintenance work for make-ready units as directed.
Cleaning and maintaining outside landscape areas, including emptying trash, picking up trash, and performing general landscape work.
Cleaning and inspecting building systems and report deficiencies to supervisors while adhering to the company’s safety programs.
Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on propertyā€™s facilities and equipment.
Assist guests regarding hotel equipment e.g. TV’s as needed.
Performing all other duties, as required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE

Previous maintenance experience in areas such as painting, plumbing, tiling and carpentry, across a large commercial building or similar is preferred.
Have basic knowledge of repair and replacement of general fixtures, such as doors, windows, walls, flooring, ceilings, roofs, furniture, and cabinetry.
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
Highly responsible and reliable, able to work safely with minimum supervision and be able to prioritize tasks.
Excellent guest service skills with an eye for detail and mechanical aptitude needed.
Team oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good command of the English language required.
5th Class Power Engineering is an asset. (Undergraduates are welcome!!)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$27.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
