We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fourth Class Power Engineer to join our Maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our facility and equipment. Your expertise will play a crucial part in maintaining high standards of quality and food safety by completing work orders promptly and effectively.
Core Responsibilities:
Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to minimize downtime, identify potential hazards, and ensure compliance with safety codes.
Equipment Management: Assemble, install, test, and maintain various equipment, appliances, and fixtures to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair malfunctioning equipment, using your knowledge to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
Repair Work: Dismantle and repair equipment using power and hand tools, determining necessary parts for repair or replacement.
Safety and Quality Reporting: Immediately report any food safety or quality concerns to the Team Leader to facilitate timely resolutions.
Minimum Requirements:
Fourth Class Power Engineering Ticket is required.
Red Seal Millwright Ticket is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong problem-solving abilities and mechanical aptitude.
Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is required.
Able to work in a cold refrigerated environment (approximately 2º C)
Monday to Thursday 6am to 4:30pm
40 hours/week
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $37.75-$39.25 per hour
