Job Description & Responsibilities:

The full-time 4th Class Power Engineer works onsite at nwPURE and is responsible for:

  • operating, monitoring and maintaining equipment required for the production process of various types of alcohols and protein supplements
  • inspecting and adjusting process parameters like milling, mashing, fermentation and distillation
  • ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently.

The successful candidate ideally has:

  • previous experience working in manufacturing and production
  • experience and educational background in power engineering (operating experience is only granted up to 4th class certification at nwPURE)
  • the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • the willingness to learn and work towards common team goals
  • the capability to stand for long periods of time and lift >50lbs.
