What you will be doing:

Operate all aspects of building systems and life safety systems, to establish the highest of operational standards.
Complete hands-on general cleaning, plumbing, electrical and HVAC repairs as well as other miscellaneous duties within the expertise of a 5th class power engineer.
Provide “on call” evenings & weekend services as scheduled and be available for all after-hour emergency situations.
Receive, process and manage tenant calls relating to the premises to a satisfactory final resolution and follow up through the work order system.
Complete building rounds and take daily readings of all major equipment including but not limited to: air supply temperatures, water temperatures and pressure readings, etc. document and inspect for irregularities in readings.
Complete minor maintenance and repairs as required; including, but not limited to, belt & filter replacement, lamp replacement, housekeeping of common areas, washroom and plumbing repair work, etc.
What you bring:

Must hold at minimum, a 5th Class Power Engineering Certificate.
2-5 years building maintenance experience in a Commercial Office environment.
Experience in Preventive Maintenance and BMS Programs.
Basic Knowledge of electrical and Life Safety Systems and principles.
Fully trained with 2-5 years in BMS systems “Apogee 600“, central plant controls, variable speed systems, and computer tenant request systems.
You will be:

Working rotational shifts Monday – Sunday.
Lifting or carrying up to 10 pounds continuously, 20 pounds frequently.
Climbing ladders frequently; working at a height.
Walking long distances on slippery uneven surfaces continuously.
Working nights on a rotational basis during our snowmaking season (November to January).
