Education, Skills and Experience
3+ years plant operations experience in the Petrochemical industry is preferred.
Previous experience with Extruder, Additive, and Reactor operations would be considered an asset.
Strong technical understanding of plant processes, equipment, and automation
Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Attention to detail and well-developed interpersonal skills are required.
Power or Chemical Engineering Diploma preferred.
3rd Class Power Engineering Certificate. Consideration will be given to individuals with their 4th Class and in addition must have proven progress towards their 3rd Class.

Hours:
This position requires the ability to work rotating, 12-hour day/night shifts.

 

As this position is identified as safety and/or security sensitive, employment of a final candidate will be conditional upon completion of pre-employment medical, drug/alcohol, criminal record check and driver’s abstract assessments with satisfactory results. Additionally, candidates will be required to adhere to company policies including those that relate to the proper use of personal protective equipment.
