  1. I got my steam time (12 months reduced to 3) through the Power Engineering program below. The program is co-op only, so you MUST finish a practicum in order to receive your diploma (in addition to your certification). The co-op office was key to landing a position for me and has a number of connections to workplaces both local, and a number of hours away. The University of Guelph Powerhouse is a 1st class plant, and is part of the Georgian College co-op program in Ontario. It is where I gained my steam time.
